Perhaps best known for its jewellers, perfumers, milliners and couturiers, Rue de la Paix has always existed as a superlative shopping promenade for Paris’ well-heeled. In 1908 Jacques Guerlain borrowed the name when creating a perfume which embodied the feeling of this sophisticated shopping boulevard….
